This is THE best location in La Jolla. It is an elegant old-world hotel in a prime location overlooking La Jolla cove. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this is the place. The location is all the more important when you realize that driving and parking a car anywhere in La Jolla is impossible. Being in the middle of things and able to stroll about town is key to enjoying the ambiance of this town. Tip: cocktails on the veranda enjoying the ocean breeze watching a classic California sunset - priceless!

I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Valencia this weekend and was completely blown away by the old-school Hollywood glamour and the delicious food. Best brunch in town, privacy by the pool, and fabulous location. The best part about my stay was the incredible concierge Mark who took care of so many details for my group and made sure everything was seamless. Can’t wait to go back.

Perfectly situated in the very walkable center of La Jolla Village, I only need my car to drive into San Diego. Excellent staff, food, views, and a beautiful pool made for a perfect stay. I'm already looking forward to returning.
