My wife and I fell in love with LaValencia a few years ago, and were delighted when our daughter Brittany and her husband Brandon decided to have their wedding there this September. From our first interaction with Bobby Fader, LaValencia's Director of Catering, he was a complete professional, and his assistant Dani was attentive, knowledgeable and amazing. As we live in the Chicago area and the bride and groom in L.A., their referrals for local florists, venues for after party and talent were all top notch. The day of the wedding we were so very well taken care of, with Dani seemingly everywhere at one time! We are so very grateful to the entire staff for helping us to put together this dream wedding, and we recommend LaValencia for anyone who wants to have an amazing event in one of the most beautiful venues in California.

Good food, friendly staff, amazing views. The ocean front is only one block away where you will find yourself on green grass surrounded by huge trees. Snorkeling is great on clear days.

What a gorgeous boutique hotel! I came here to scout for a possible location for a corporate party, but I fell in love and started to plan my next staycation. Great location, very cozy and upscale vibe, beautiful setting and views. The fresh flower arrangements are phenomenal. Their spa is opening at the end of May - I will need to check it out. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and pleasant to talk to.

This is the spot! Spent our wedding night with panoramic views of the La Jolla coastline. This hotel strikes the right balance of history, elegance, comfort, and care. Their staff are superb. If you enjoy staying at a nice hotel, you've found it.

Erin was unbelievably helpful. We booked a room for my sister and her new husband. They were just married this morning. She did everything she could to make sure Thursday was extra special.

I brought my daughter to La Jolla for a quick weekend to celebrate her finishing nursing school. La Valencia hotel amd its staff were outstanding. It is a small hotel and the staff goes out of their way to welcome you. Erin at the front desk , Aaron and McKenna in the restaurant, and Mark in concierge truly helped make our weekend nothing short of spectacular! The restaurant there has an amazing view during sunset. Their appetizers before dinner can be very fulfilling for a quick bite and their service is beyond five stars. One of their waiters offered us free coffee just because they knew we were traveling from a long distance. A real authentic place with great hearted people!

We had an intimate micro-wedding here this past spring, and it was wonderful! We also stayed in a suite the night of our wedding, and the room was lovely. The staff and coordinators were so attentive and friendly. It doesn't get much more beautiful than this hotel. Nothing but love! Special shoutout to Dani, Pete and Colton.
