Beautiful boutique hotel. Beautiful property with pool, lounge, and restaurant.

My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and it was nothing short of perfect! The staff and concierge were extremely kind , welcoming, and made us feel very special ! Property was perfect and felt like you were stepping back into time!

My husband and I had a short “staycation” for an anniversary. We live in San Diego but always wanted to stay here so we splurged for a night. The hotel is beautiful and although older it is well cared for and very charming. The best part was the staff, Mark the concierge in particular was a true gem. I would give him more stars if I could!

Superb service, interior, food, drinks and location!!

I did not stay the night at La Valencia. I was there for lunch with a friend and it was just perfect. Perfect weather. Perfect service. Perfect location. The food was excellent and we felt very spoiled. Definitely the place to spend a really pleasant afternoon.

This hotel is gorgeous and really shines once you walk in from the street. We had booked an ocean room view in the tower and unfortunately, it was on the side facing some construction. The front desk went above and beyond to move us and we ended up with the most amazing corner room with views from both windows. The pool is beautiful and the staff and concierge are amazing too. Can’t wait to come back.

Had cocktails very well made

La Valencia was perfect for our daughter's wedding. The overall vibe was exactly what we were looking for - personal, classy, vintage, and comfortable. The venue was the perfect size for our 60-person wedding, and so beautiful with the ocean backdrop and landscape. There are lots of amazing spots for photography. From the moment we toured the venue, to planning details along the way, to the big day, communication was excellent. The hotel suggested vendors for our wedding that made vendor selection easy, especially since we live in Arizona, and all of them were equally fantastic. The service the entire weekend was outstanding. The bridal suite was a fantastic space for the girls to get ready, made even better by the mimosas and treats the staff brought up. The team also went above and beyond for our family, even using the hotel golf carts to shuttle the grandparents to nearby restaurants so they wouldn't have to walk far. We had a family dinner at The Mediterranean restaurant a couple of days before the wedding, and the meal and service was superb. The food at the wedding was top-notch, with many guests raving about the meal. I was impressed with the number of wait staff who made sure the evening went smoothly. I was so busy with our daughter's wedding I plan to come back again just for a relaxing getaway. Overall, it was an incredible event, and we highly recommend La Valencia hotel.

Beautiful place to stay when visiting La Jolla! Great views of the ocean, beautiful sunsets, a great pool area with a bar and good and plenty of shops and restaurants to walk to nearby.
