This was the best vacation we have had in many years. The hotel is magnificent, particularly the pool and the access to the park, beach and amazing La Jolla. We could only dream of getting to live this life permanently, meanwhile, there is La Valencia to remind us of how great our dreams can be.

Location is unparalleled, cocktails by Tina are sublime and the food is world class. What else could anyone want? This place is top shelf, in-crowd with pinky raised. Take advantage if you can, the sunset is waiting.

Good vibes

We came late, so the place was empty. However, Michael M made an order of Diet Coke and water come to life

One of the best local San Diego hotels with iconic views of the La Jolla sunset. The most underrated part is the location and how cute it is.

Beautiful bar area

Nestled within the heart of the La Jolla, La Valencia’s hotel lobby exudes an undeniable charm, adorned with elegant furnishings and warm lighting that instantly envelops you in a cozy embrace. As you step into the bar, the inviting ambiance beckons you to unwind and savor the moment. The friendly staff adds to the welcoming atmosphere, ensuring each visit is met with a genuine smile and attentive service. And let’s not forget the incredible views! While the prices may be on the higher end, the overall experience undoubtedly justifies the expense. Whether you're enjoying a cocktail in the bar or indulging in a gourmet meal, each moment spent here is worth the investment. Despite the cost, I find myself drawn back time and time again, captivated by the charm and warmth that permeates every corner of this delightful establishment.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! I did not stay in a room, so I can't review the rooms. The hotel is wonderful. The grounds are very lush. Great views of the beach. Wonderful renovation. A magnificent place to just relax, have a bite to eat and drink, and just enjoy the surroundings.

Lunch and wine on the patio was an elegant time!
