Beautiful Spanish style hotel facing the Pacific Ocean in La Jolla. Great service, comfortable rooms and right in the heart of old town

Hacienda-style villa hotel located right in La Jolla Village, her beautiful Pink facade has stood for over 90 years and continues to charm long time visitors, locals and newcomers. The two bars, and restaurant do not disappoint (grab a veranda table for breakfast or lunch and thank me later) nor do the grounds. Absolutely nothing like walking down from the hotel out the lower street gates for a morning swim just south of the cove before returning to the pool for a dip before breakfast. Sure, don’t get me wrong, it could use some updates for the price they fetch, but don’t forget where you’re at and all the madness you avoided at the shores.

Very elegant and sophisticated bar with good food and good service. It's a great place to sit and look out the window well you get drunk. That is of course if you can get a table by the window, which is difficult
