Bobby Fader and his team at La Valencia provided the most unforgettable and magical wedding experience for my partner and I. From the moment we stepped onto the property, we were in awe of the breathtaking ocean views and unique surroundings. The entire staff was incredibly professional, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure our wedding was everything we wanted. The wedding ceremony took place on the ocean-view terrace, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sound of the waves crashing in the background. The setting was truly picturesque and provided a romantic and intimate atmosphere for our vows. The ceremony was seamless and every detail was perfectly executed by Bobby, making the experience even more special for us. The reception took place in the Grand Ballroom, which was beautifully decorated and provided a spacious and elegant atmosphere for our guests. The food was exceptional, with a delicious and diverse menu that satisfied everyone's palates. No one ever really expects wedding food to be anything but palatable, but every dish was fantastic! The service was impeccable, with the waitstaff constantly ensuring that everyone's glasses were filled and that the meal was enjoyable. The wedding at La Valencia in La Jolla was truly a dream come true, and we couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue for our special day. The entire staff was professional, friendly, and dedicated to making our wedding day unforgettable. We highly recommend La Valencia for anyone looking for a luxurious and romantic wedding venue. Had just a terrific stay here. My room was nicely updated with a view of the water. I don’t post a lot of reviews but the best part of this hotel is the staff. Everyone was incredibly nice and super accommodating. The front desk team especially was great and were amazing in helping me out when I thought I was going to have to extend my stay due to weather related travel issues. This was my first time at La Valencia and I look forward to coming back.

We got upgraded to corner unit with breathtaking views facing front beach by the cove and north-side shorelines, room interior are of decent quality too, just wish had better wash products. Great service here too. In-room dining had limited options and quality was not good.
