La Valencia is muy deliciosa! It was the most perfect dinner spot to watch the sunset by La Jolla Cove. The atmosphere is charming, the bathrooms were very clean, and there are multiple dining areas. The bar area is parlor like and comfortable with sofas, chairs, and high-top tables. The front patio has a good view of the strip with comfortably cushioned patio chairs, umbrellas, and a hip vibe. My 4 year old wanted to sit by the cozy fireplace in the main restaurant area but we opted to sit out on the bar-side patio. We had an excellent view with patio heaters to keep us comfortable. My husband ordered the 18oz bone-in ribeye. The texture and seasonings were perfect! Both of our kids had the burger and fries off the kids' menu. The fries were very good. I ordered a chicken with spaetzel & and apricot, and at first, I thought the portion was a bit small, but it was plenty of food and absolutely delicious. Our service was fantastic. My husband asked the bartender to make him something good and Jason (the bartender) came up with a smoking orange whiskey drink that my husband loved. Overall, we were very satisfied with our dining experience at La Valencia!

I came to the bar for drinks. The views are great, the service is fast and considerate, and the views are beautiful! You can't beat the location or the historic, well maintained surroundings.

Perfect location (walkable to everything we wanted to see), gorgeous grounds, and friendly staff!

La Valencia vastly exceeded our expectations. It is a remarkably beautiful hotel, with understated, cozy luxury that makes all feel welcome. The staff is tremendous--they are friendly, professional, all while maintaining a relaxed, laidback vibe. The food and drink offerings are exquisite. This place is La Jolla's Grand Budapest Hotel. We absolutely adored our time there and will be back very soon.
