Nous recommandons la Valencia. ---------------- Nous sommes arrivés ce soir à 20h en provenance de New York. J’avais appelé l’hotel pour les prévenir que nous voyageons avec un enfant de 3 ans. Ils nous ont donné une chambre très bruyante avec une très forte ordeur de moisissures et de nourriture avariée. Lorsque je suis descendu à la réception, l’employée m’a dit qu’elle ne pouvait rien faire et que je pouvais partir! Avec mon enfant de 3 ans endormi à 21h… J’ai décidé de rester car je n’avais pas le choix mais j’ai vraiment peur de faire respirer cette moisissure à mon fils. L’employée de la réception nous a promis de nous changer de chambre demain… Je croise les doigts. Expérience horrible jusqu’à présent.

Absolutely wonderful, get the Tuna Nachos!

I have been to La Jolla many times, but this was my first stay at La Valencia. It will not be my last. It is an absolutely beautiful hotel in THE prime location in La Jolla. The hotel dates back to the 1920’s and retains its old world charm. It also has all the latest modern amenities to make your stay comfortable. The star is the location - the views are stunning. The Pacific Ocean is right behind the hotel and all the shops, galleries and restaurants of the city are short walks away. Sharing equal billing with the location is the staff - friendly, personable and very helpful. When I first checked in there was a problem with my room and I needed to be relocated. The hotel was very busy and likely sold out. Nonetheless Ann G spent considerable time working to find me the perfect room. She delivered with a spectacular ocean front room with sweeping views of the coast. I really appreciate her efforts. Later I managed to injure my leg and had a hard time walking. The staff found me a local clinic and Zach, a valet, drove me to my appointment in a golf cart. Just tremendous service above and beyond the norm. Fantastic hotel, tremendous location, all the amenities you need or want, and a phenomenal staff. A wonderful place to stay!

Great views. Only visited the lobby bar and the restaurant for lunch. Restaurant was not a favorite for anyone in our group but the lobby bar staff was attentive and we loved the live piano music.

Beautiful hotel with friendly staff members that caters to every request with a smile.
