Loved our stay at La Valencia Hotel. View is amazing. The Pacific Suite itself is really spacious - like a small, one-bedroom condo. Staff are all professional and courteous. Love that the hotel is dog friendly in nearly all areas (not the main pool deck itself, but the upper pool deck area they're allowed). We ended up leaving half a day early, no fault of the hotel or anything. We're lazy vacation risers in the morning and hate being rushed to checkout. Would absolutely stay again!

Wow, what an incredible experience. I am a local and my business partner and I, Erin, hit a huge milestone with the company we started 10 years ago. Having a "Pink Lady" at La Valencia has been on our bucket list for years, so we finally treated ourselves to a trip to LV as a reward for our hard work. I bought 2x passes from RESORT PASS to hang at the pool. I was pleasantly surprised by how wholesome, sweet, and down-to-earth the entire staff was from the front desk to the busboys. I think the individuals that made us feel the most special were Mike and Christian at the pool. They both waited on us with such care, enthusiasm, and kindness. You worry about places like LV being highly pretentious but I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and caring all the staff was. Mike and Christian made us feel like queens for a day! In addition to visiting the pool (for 5 hours,) Mike got me an amazing table upstairs at the restaurant. I was truly blown away, wow. My day at the pool relaxing was topped off by delicious food, and superior service at the restaurant. I ordered a WHITE RUSSIAN with Soy Milk and our awesome server actually made that happen lol (and had the drink made in under 4 minutes!) A true class act this place is. One of the best meals and best days I've had in a long time. I will definitely be returning and can't wait to have lunch at the pool again!

Great hotel bar. Eric did a fantastic job making me all kinds of cocktails from rum to whisky to tequila. Really knew his stuff. Absolutely would make this a regular stop if I lived here

We had a great time at the La Valencia Hotel. The hotel staff made our stay very special for our anniversary. They even sent up a complimentary bottle of champagne to celebrate the occasion. The location is perfect to view the sunset and see the sea lions nearby. We will definitely be back at some point. Our favorite hotel of our California trip.
