We had lunch. Good and service excellent, as always! We enjoyed a view of the ocean, and the sweet sounds of a wedding ceremony from the garden below. We have enjoyed La Valencia many times over the past 40 years. We shall continue this tradition whenever we visit La Jolla. Truly a pleasure.

An exceptional stay - La Valencia should be on everyone's "bucket list." I loved the breakfasts and lunches on the patio overlooking the ocean - and what hotel has a dog menu! The views were priceless and the concierge was incredibly helpful.

I would absolutely stay at La Valencia again. It was one of the best hotel stays I have ever had in such a great location. Staff was extremely friendly, pool and hot tub was in great condition, and the rooms were extremely clean. It is going to be just about impossible for me to stay at another hotel when I'm back in La Jolla. Additionally, the valet was seamless for us and we felt incredibly safe on and around the property. Do yourself a favor and stay at this establishment!
