Only stopped here for a quick drink after dinner at George's and it was very pleasant. It was dead when we walked in, however within 10 minutes it was busy. There was a young lady who was the musician that was just fabulous. She played guitar, piano and a couple other instruments. It was at the perfect volume and the waiters were attentive. I would recommend for a lounge in the back.

Stayed in a villa during the winter holiday. Comfortable beds and nice rooms with an attached deck. Although the hotel I had many staircases as it’s on the side of a hill the views and scenery make up for it. Fair warning though that the seals do make a smell and it wafts back to the hotel although 150 yards from the ocean. Great food and amenities and service too. The lobby smelled great, it was spritzed every so often; soft jazz is also playing at all times too.

We went for a "night cap!" Piano playing, cozy seating, and a magnificent room.

Top notch services, cuisine, & views. Wonderful choice for any occasion. Holidays are always delightful with all the festivities through our the hotel. An outstanding find! Thanks O'LAY Rechelle

A stay at La Valencia is much needed if visiting San Diego. The decorations and ambience were top notch and we had amazing service wherever we went. The room: We stayed in the Classic room with balcony view of the ocean and it was great being able to hear the waves at night and wake up to the sunrise in the morning. Bathroom was very nice with great designs, only downside is it does not have a ventilation/fan system in there. Mediterranean room: we received amazing service from our waitress and the greeter (Bujar?) who made us feel welcomed. Must get the tuna nachos! The area: The hotel is in walking distance to the La Jolla Cove where you can enjoy watching the seals. It’s also walking distance to shopping and food.

What a special town and great hotel location.

Attended a family wedding here over the weekend. Very beautiful. The staff was amazing. Over looks the ocean. Suggest parking in the parking garage. Hard to find parking otherwise. The parking was $30.

We had breakfast only. I highly recommend the eggs Benedict and the chorizo Benedict. Kind, friendly, responsive staff

What a great place for a after lunch meeting with a magnificent view of the west coast beaches. LA Jolla is amazing
