San Diego Botanic Garden

Spend a day exploring lush garden trails, calming scenery, flowering plants, palms, and the largest bamboo collection in California. Go from a desert environment to a tropical rainforest with waterfalls in seconds, as you travel through a variety of microclimates all within a four-mile radius. Some of the areas you can expect to tour include the sculpture gardens, rare bamboo groves, herb gardens, desert gardens, Mediterranean climate landscapes, and tropical fruit gardens. The Hamilton Children's Garden is filled with interactive play areas, including Toni's Tree House for kids that want to explore.
